Together, we accomplished great victories for the great outdoors - from zero-emission school buses to major investments in clean energy and legacy forest protection, we're taking big steps forward for environmental justice. Join us on Monday, March 18th at 5:30 p.m. via Zoom for a Virtual Town Hall as we breakdown our biggest wins and how we got there together, what lessons we learned as we worked with partners new and old in Olympia, and what the rest of 2024 holds for the environmental justice movement as we speed toward a big election year. RSVP now to get the link! <https://click.emails.sierra club.org/?qs=39a6d0c6a442a4e0a3abfda376a3dac6592cb9a951ae5eb6d503f1a533195b38e757a84c027a96abe2c7f4eb2710338111c98a6100eb081fd1cb79e37927939f> <https://click.emails.sierraclub.org/?qs=39a6d0c6a442a4e058adcc0a4dd4dd2c7d256cbf41083b7665baec836c8c969d9bc051b6c109d3c1f48c7b0a300ac8c7b2a511e6a7005d51e86e8b55e3745c4f> On Monday, you'll hear from Sierra Club staff, Olympia insiders, veteran volunteer leaders, and more on our legislative priorities, how to keep in touch with legislators during the interim, and how to deepen your engagement with the Washington State Chapter. Last but certainly not least, come hear about the Climate Commitment Act and the environmental movement's efforts to protect one of the country's strongest pieces of climate protection legislation at the ballot this fall with the Vote NO on I-2117 campaign. RSVP! <https://click.emails.sierraclub.org/?qs=39a6d0c6a442a4e058adcc0a4dd4dd2c7d256cbf41083b7665baec836c8c969d9bc051b6c109d3c1f48c7b0a300ac8c7b2a511e6a7005d51e86e8b55e3745c4f> We can't wait to see you! Sept Gernez Chapter Director Sierra Club Washington State ________________________________ P.S. If you haven't already, make sure you tell Gov. Inslee to say no to corporate handouts and veto Section 7 of HB 1589! One of our major priorities, a bill to help Puget Sound Energy (PSE) ditch gas was amended at the last second, gutting a crucial part of this legislation. This amendment will mean higher bills for customers as our state's largest private utility rakes in bigger profits. Don't let corporate interests trample over economic and climate justice. Take action and demand Gov. Inslee stand up to PSE and restore this bill to its original intent by vetoing this bad amendment! ACT NOW! <https://click.emails.sierraclub.org/?qs=39a6d0c6a442a4e0331a62046523c2f0951c1d6ab1f1efc4ad946e3e9dd97397659c0cf203a4bad9423b510e88c0fe8a6e3b846512ad8639b96f0bb0f6abbab3> ________________________________ <https://click.emails.sierraclub.org/?qs=39a6d0c6a442a4e0b89c0c41620a797297c89391c5b42d99304596174f8dcc003a9af1df2dd00973427f67ffb2dd48ddb71610e43b261af4> <https://click.emails.sierraclub.org/?qs=39a6d0c6a442a4e029981e1f39e1850ad847412679ff1db9b181ec74b25be5e75e958535534722414c379436025c9049aff4ad09b3479286> <https://click.emails.sierraclub.org/?qs=39a6d0c6a442a4e02e6f3c443fc8b18c533cca9a04d9d04f4f6c96bf2df1f8c26f4299baa30ad5fdd650072458bfa9d819eb705da6ef2a3b> <https://click.emails.sierraclub.org/?qs=39a6d0c6a442a4e0b5f381c5ca91cdeb06beacb8edab3f651a7616ce4c61ee592808b9ea34010d50bc5f4fb7cb8efc3921c04a0a3acb8f39> Support the Chapter! <https://click.emails.sierraclub.org/?qs=39a6d0c6a442a4e0508bfa3ad5de83ffae5a41e1c18cbedca135cf67c2a85d1b9b935be4eff397798200d6fbc6d015d7456d46f2024c3ad9fe5bf07cb2de262c> <https://image.emails.sierraclub.org/lib/fe94137277610c7d76/m/3/cb618475-a634-44dc-9eb1-448c05763d00.png> This email was sent to: jeffbocc@co.jefferson.wa.us This email was sent by the Sierra Club Washington State Chapter 180 Nickerson St, Suite 202, Seattle, WA 98109 Unsubscribe <https://click.emails.sierraclub.org/?qs=39a6d0c6a442a4e048c8436a5818bd779aebd23db3e4b65c9c3c434cb50f00d28add95c943316378c323c713d175b5f756895fb00bdb9d625337a79f6c5f6f0a> | Manage Preferences <https://click.emails.sierraclub.org/?qs=39a6d0c6a442a4e04a56bf9513d476867b894fa9466ef0cfe06ed99001a938436a70661c3c9749daab69cc8e70d7ff7c2dbbf2c613d6d3c4356bc443ca0be7e6> | View as web page <https://view.emails.sierraclub.org/?qs=f35d6e49a3c2c79f77bb8c643c4b107c49c001349a4b68449364421f4a957cad4a15295e3162bd1a78f8160b3f89fe79b089cfbd979fd4fe54904147c1605d5e140a4061b3 0ed77c19905c37cc04a8c3> <https://click.emails.sierraclub.org/open.aspx?ffcb10-fe8d1072766d0d7f70-fe2e15727d640578761c75-fe94137277610c7d76-ff6210717d-fe5810797460007b771d-ff3712707566&d=70229&bmt=0>
