Kate,
How thrilling! Governor Jay Inslee is now a featured speaker at our annual fundraiser.
Please attend Washington Conservation Action’s event Spark! Powering Transformative Change on Thursday, May 9 at 6:30 p.m. at the Museum of History and Industry (MOHAI) in Seattle. We
will bring together the environmental and political community to support our work to protect people and nature as one and kick-off the 2024 election season!
Together, we are strong. Join us to celebrate in solidarity and to continue the work! <https://waenvironment.cmail20.com/t/i-l-akrtue-iljdtitdg-y/>

In this election year, so much is at stake: There are right-wing forces trying to repeal our state’s historic cap-and-invest carbon pricing law, the strongest climate legislation in
the country. Oil companies are price-gouging at the pump. Out-of-state investors seek to build projects on sacred Tribal lands. We all need the spark of hope and a determination to
fight for clean air and water, for environmental justice, for economic justice, for Tribal sovereignty, for democracy.
Among the powerful exhibits of all of Washington’s history, and mouth-watering refreshments and delectable food, and interesting attendees, we look forward to celebrating our community
and kicking off the election season with all of you!
Together, we are powerful,
Alyssa Macy (she/her)
