1) advance energy strategy, equity and policy goals, and expedite delivery of funds to local governments; and
2) capacity-building for smaller cities and counties not eligible for direct federal EECBG.
When?
Grant due April 1st
Department of Commerce (DoC) April 2nd to 18th review
DoC May Award - Notify successful applicants April 19th – Start May 21st earliest
Project must be completed in 18 months

Is it required?
This is a voluntary statewide program

C-PACER program requirements are codified in RCW 36.165.

Electrification improvement (eliminates fossil fuel combustion),
Renewable energy,
Electric vehicle charging,
Seismic hardening,
Fire detection and suppression,
Flood readiness,
Stormwater management, and
Energy storage among others
