Analysis/Strategic Goals/Pro's Et Con's: This change order includes increase in cost for changes to the fencing; installation of wood chips/bark and hand seeding areas which were not included in the original scope; and re-negotiated pricing for Topsoil B due to quantity increase. Fiscal Impact/Cost Benefit Analysis: The amount for Change Order No. 8 is $75,792.32. The contract amount will increase from $1,950,857.84 to $2,026,650.15. NOTE, the cost includes 9.1% sales tax. The project is funded at 100% by the Department of Commerce. Recommendation: Public Works recommends that the Board authorize Change Order No. 8 with Seton Construction, and return one original to Public Works for further processing.
