Call to Order: Chair Bob Gebo called the meeting to order at 2:02 p.m. in the presence of Member
Ken Przygocki, Member Dan Taylor, and Secretary Kristen Bennett. Chief Examiner Steve Richmond
participated remotely.
Public Comment: No comments received.
Approval of Minutes: Member Przygocki moved to approve the regular meeting minutes of
November 28, 2023, as presented. Member Taylor seconded the Motion. The Motion carried.
Old Business: Scheduling Support Services Technician Testing: Chief Examiner Steve Richmond
scheduled exam for March 16th. Advertisement running the PT Leader (and County Website).
Applications close on March 11th. As of February 27, 2024, eight (8) applications have been
submitted.
New Business:
1. Amend Rule 4-Classification; Section 2. Classification Schedule; c. Support Services: Member Taylor suggests to amend CSC Rules to change language to refer to Collective Bargaining Agreement and Sheriff’s Personal Administration Manual. The Board discussed edits to the Civil Service Rules. After discussion they agreed to table discussion for future meeting. Member Przygocki moved to table discussion. Member Taylor seconded the Motion. The Motion carried. 2. Request to Hire Corrections Applicant from Patrol List Memo: The Board discussed moving candidates from Deputy List to Corrections positions. Member Taylor moved to table discussion. Member Przygocki seconded the Motion. The Motion carried. They agreed to table the discussion till next meeting.
Closing Remarks: No Closing remarks.
Notice of Adjournment: Chair Gebo adjourned the regular meeting at 2:51 p.m. until the next
regular or special meeting as properly noticed.
