Dear Commissioner,
I am writing to request that you reinstate the Customer Assistance Meetings with the Department of Community Development. I am a Realtor in Jefferson County. Our Buyer clients do not
have a good way to find out about properties before they make an offer on them. Most Sellers will not accept an offer with a feasibility period that is long enough for a Buyer to do
a pre-application conference or an SDR with the County. If Buyers are deciding on more than one property, it is unreasonable to have to spend money and time on more than one or two
properties just to get some basic questions answered.
