Good morning
I am writing to you to tell you how important it is that CAM's come back to the DCD. You can still get one at the City level so why not continue to offer them at the county level.
I was told that the SDR is taking the place of the CAM. That is completely absurd.
The CAM was an opportunity for a prospective buyer to get to speak to someone other than their Realtor about what the possibilities of a particular property may be.
The SDR (which needs to go away anyway) is not a viable option for a buyer! Would you spend a few hundred dollars on getting a report for a property that is not yours or that you may
not even wish to purchase? Not to mention the time they take to get. We generally only get a max of 10 days for buyer to "investigate" a property. Not having this available will drastically
impact the purchase of vacant land in our county, which affects sellers, Realtors and the builders trying to make a living here.
Please bring them back!
