Lodging Tax Advisory Committee(LTAC)
Special Meeting Minutes March 16,2024— 11:30 a.m.
Jefferson County Commissioners Chambers
(Hybrid)
Members: Chair Greg Brotherton, Diana Smeland, Amy Neil,Kevin Wooley and Tara McCauley
Staff: LTAC Clerk Adiel McKnight
CALL TO ORDER: Chair Brotherton called the meeting to order at the appointed time. Members
Smeland,Neil, and Wooley were present. Member McCauley arrived shortly after the meeting
started. Also present was: County Administrator Mark McCauley.
PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD: Chair Brotherton called for public comments and no comments
were received.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Member Smeland moved to approve the September 19, 2023 Special
Meeting Minutes as presented. Member Neil seconded the motion which carried by a unanimous
vote.
DISCUSSION re: Request for Proposal (RFP) process for 2025; Annually Funding
Programs: After discussion,the committee agreed to table discussion for a future meeting.
Clerk McKnight will send out a Doodle Poll for a special meeting in April.
DISCUSSION re: Supplemental Funding: After discussion,the committee agreed to table
discussion for a future meeting.
FUTURE MEETING AGENDA ITEMS:
• Introductions
• Continued RFP discussion re: funding certain projects
• Continued discussion re: supplemental funds available
• Review the last 5 years of LTAC funding
CLOSING REMARKS
NOTICE OF ADJOURNMENT Chair Brotherton adjourned the meeting at 12:29 p.m. until the
next regular or special meeting as properly noticed.
