Good Morning Bert,
I briefly looked in Anne’s files and it doesn’t look like there has been any progress on this topic since Anne and several others met on site March 15, 2024. From an email in our files,
it looks like Vaughn Bradshaw was to have met with the HOA Board April 19th and was going to propose to the Board that they consider applying for financial assistance from our program.
He indicated in the email to Anne that he’d follow up with her after the 4/19 meeting. I don’t believe he has contacted our program since then, but I’m CC’ing my staff Rawley Davis
in the event he’d heard from anyone.
As you can imagine, with Anne’s departure, we are short-staffed and extremely busy covering extra workload.
Rawley – Can you let us know if you’ve been contacted by anyone to date?
It would be great to talk with those involved in the prior conversations and figure out a path forward.

I wanted to keep you up to date with the Trail Nine Golf Course. I’ll be meeting with Diana Smeland this coming Friday to look at fuels reductions options and to tell her about the DNR

I have reviewed the two documents you sent. We might be able to offer some assistance. We offer financial aid to landowners to carry out fuels reduction projects on forested land. Our
program requires us to work directly with the landowner of said property. In this case, we would need to reach out to Port Ludlow Associates LLC (PLA) to see if they would be willing
to take part in our program. Do you have a good contact for the PLA so we can communicate with them directly about our program?
