Do not open attachments or click on links if you are not expecting them. Good morning everyone, Emily and Vicky, thank you for facilitating this so that we can begin our revisions to the Ladris simulations. Chief Black, Chief Tracer, Lieutenant Calbert, and Mr. Callister, thank you very much for your careful review and all of your thorough feedback. I will redesign the scenarios according to the specific requests for additional waypoints from Chief Black and Chief Tracer, and I will correct the routing according to Lt. Calbert and Mr. Callister's critique on the non-through roads that were used in the initial simulations. So that we can accurately identify the roads to remove from the simulations, it might be most efficient to meet virtually with at least Mr. Callister and Lt. Calbert to look at the mapped evacuation models together in a screen share. Since there are likely other matters to address along with the waypoints and non-through roads, Chief Black, Chief Tracer, and any others would of course be welcome to attend. We can also complete this via email if preferred. Assuming some would like to meet to complete this review, would it be possible to hold a 30-60 min call during one of the following time frames? I have lots of questions. I’ve looked at all the information within the documents provided. I realize there are a lot of factors that could be applied for this summary. Example, tying into Chief Blacks question #4 Port Ludlow. Not sure why anyone from Port Ludlow would go north to Port Hadlock? Port Hadlock should be one waypoint. Why wasn’t 104 over the bridge to Kitsap considered? Looking at the set waypoints for the other scenarios. Is there a way to set more than two waypoints were applicable for the individual scenarios? Additional waypoints could provide a better overall snap shot for each specific scenario. Also this document appears to be big picture of the larger communities within Jefferson County, can the waypoints be spread out? New waypoint examples: Scenario #1 Quilcene. Waypoints of Jefferson Mason County Line, 101 /Sr 20 and Center Rd/104. Scenario #3 Marrowstone Island. Way points SR 116 / SR 19, Irondale Rd / SR 19 Oakbay /Paradise Bay. Scenario #4 Port Ludlow. Waypoints SR 104 / SR 3, Port Hadlock, Quilcene. Scenario #5 Port Townsend Quimper Peninsula. Waypoints SR 20 / SR 101, Center Rd / SR 104, SR 19 / SR 104. I look forward to seeing other comments and learning about how this program works? What parameters or factors were used and considered and how we might move forward utilizing such programs in the future. Respectfully, Brian W. A small group has been working on this component with our teaming partner, Ladris. Please find the report along with a concise set of draft recommendations for your review here: Evacuation Analysis <https://swcacorp.sharepoint.com/:f:/s/MyProjects79744-892/EkWRBcBnFRRBlCYoRcCXC8AB 89MGZo-WAiyqL0bCll33Dw?e=ZhxQFT> Please note that we will format the recommendations table during the final technical edit process. We did not receive any comments on the draft Evacuation Analysis when we provided it in December. Please feel free to review both and provide comments by Friday March 29. Regarding the presentation by Ladris on the Evacuation Analysis, due to pressing priorities, we canceled the presentation. Is there interest in rescheduling that presentation? Please let me know by March 29. I can coordinate with them to reschedule it. This Evacuation Analysis effort has been happening in parallel with the development of the Draft Plan. We need to determine if this is going to be an appendix in the plan or a standalone document that is a companion of the plan. We would like your input on that topic by March 29. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks, Emily Emily Geery Project Environmental Planner *Please note that I am out of the office on Fridays.
