I'm visibly trans non op MtF and I really feel I can't use either male or female facilities without a great deal of embarrassment or worse. As a result, I haven't been able to use gyms or swimming pools for over four years and it's getting me down. I'm guessing this is also a problem for non binary people. I'm aware that some places do have gender neutral facilities - either some sort of private changing room aside from the single sex facilities or a sort of mixed sex arrangement where everyone has a private cubicle so it's not a problem. The trouble is, I don't know where these places are. Is there any sort of guide or certification system that lets places that are inclusive in this way advertise themselves as such for the benefit of people like me? 'm in Canada and we don't have male and female change rooms in public pools anymore. It's all sexes LGBTO friendly. This means a male or female or anything in between can strip down naked if they wanted to among others (kids, adults, elderly). Also, no male or female labeled bathrooms.
