Historic County Courthouse Rehabilitation Grant Program | May 20

Since 2005, the Historic County Courthouse Rehabilitation Grant program has provided matching grants to counties for the purpose of historic county courthouse rehabilitation. Administered
through the Department of Archaeology & Historic Preservation (DAHP), over $24.5M in grant funds has been awarded to 77 projects in twenty-eight counties statewide since the program’s
inception.
DAHP is presently seeking grant applications for funding in the 2025-2027 biennium and program staff are currently working with counties to develop eligible applications in anticipation
of the June 30, 2024 deadline. Through this webinar co-hosted by the Washington Trust for Historic Preservation (the Washington Trust assists DAHP in program administration), learn
about important program changes, eligibility criteria, project implementation, and application strategies. Past courthouse rehabilitation projects will be reviewed, offering participants
an in-depth look at several of our wonderful county courthouses located across the state.
