Attached please find a Press Release and Event Flyer for the next Quilcene + Brinnon Connections meeting being sponsored again by the North Hood Canal Chamber of Commerce (NHCCC) at
the Quilcene Community Center, Thursday, June 6th at 6:30PM. Chamber membership isn’t required, anyone in Jefferson County is welcome to attend.
These events are one and a half hours long with an informal approach to bringing government, organizations, businesses, and the community together. The intent is to foster public meetings
creating opportunities to converse and share information, needs, issues, ideas, possible solutions, and nurture learning and face to face networking as an alternative to social media.
The first ½ hour is informal and open discussion. The second ½ hour will be the “topic of focus,” and the last half hour will be for casual socializing, networking, and conversation.
Some refreshments will be provided, and refreshment donations are welcome. These events are not available remotely.
The “topic of focus” will be on the county’s state required Growth Management Act (GMA) update for 2025, planning out the next twenty years. Learn about the role the government and county
representatives play; the role businesses play and the important role the community can play.
