Water District Advisory Council. You will serve a Four(4) Year Term to expire May 28, 2028.

dates and times. If you have any questions, please contact him at(360) 385-9444 ext. 301 or email
at MDawson@cojefferson.wa.us.
Washington State has mandated Open Public Meetings Act and Open Public Records Act training
for government staff and officials.Newly elected or reappointed members of Jefferson County
Advisory Boards and Commissions are also required to take this training. Please use this link to

Alternatively,you can go to the County's website homepage at www.co.jefferson.wa.us click on
"How Do I . . ."and click on"Open Government Training"under the `Find' section. Note that
there are also Records Management and Retention trainings that we ask that you also take.
Once you have completed each training,please print and sign a certificate. The County will need a
copy of your certificate to show that you have completed each course. Please mail or email to the

You have 90 days from your appointment date to complete this training. You must complete the
training every 4 years. If you serve on more than one advisory board you only need to complete the
training once and provide one copy of your signed certificate.

STATEMENT OF ISSUE:
The Jefferson County Clean Water District Advisory Council had One (1) Commercial Shellfish Grower
unexpired term end on April 11, 2024.
ANALYSIS:
Board member, Lee Steele, has submitted his request to continue to serve on the Jefferson County Clean
Water District Advisory Council as a representative for the Commercial Shellfish Growers.
RECOMMENDATION
Per Resolution 35-11, the Commercial Shellfish Growers and County staff recommend that the Board
approve the following:
Lee Steele—Four (4) Year Term expiring May 28, 2028
