The allocations, which total $1.6 billion, reflect the limits set forth by the Fiscal Responsibility Act (P.L. 118-5). We have included the full list of approved allocations for each spending bill below: Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies: $25.873 billion Commerce, Justice, Science, and Related Agencies: $78.288 billion Defense: $833 billion Energy and Water Development and Related Agencies: $59.19 billion Financial Services and General Government: $23.6 billion Homeland Security: $64.805 billion Interior, Environment, and Related Agencies: $37.739 billion Labor, Health and Human Services, Education, and Related Agencies: $186.586 billion Legislative Branch: $7.125 billion Military Construction, Veterans Affairs, and Related Agencies: $147.52 billion State Department, Foreign Operations, and Related Programs: $51.713 billion Transportation, Housing and Urban Development, and Related Agencies: $90.4 billion Transportation U.S. Department Transportation Office of the Secretary * The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) announced <https://watransit.us12.list-manage.com/track/click?u=6c70c3a1d76c22fe2ef2a8361&id=e712fd8795&e=850008f825> the recipients of the first tranche of funding under the Fiscal Year (FY) 2024 Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) Grant Program. The agency awarded approximately $64 million in funding to support 99 Planning and Demonstration Grants in 34 states for projects to develop safety action plans, conduct supplemental safety planning, and carry out safety demonstration activities. The RFI seeks public input on the state of AI applications, emerging challenges and opportunities in developing and deploying AI technologies, and the risks of expanding AI technologies in transportation. Joint Office of Energy and Transportation The Joint Office of Energy and Transportation provided an update <https://watransit.us12.list-manage.com/track/click?u=6c70c3a1d76c22fe2ef2a8361&id=c6d32f8498&e=850008f825> on the implementation of the National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) Formula Program. As of this quarter, eight stations in six states with 33 public charging ports funded by the program are now operational. Additionally, 36 states have released their first round of solicitations, and 23 of those states have issued conditional awards or agreements for over 550 station locations.
