To our city and county elected officials:
Apologies for this late notification about the 2024 Connectivity Fair!
Five of us have been busy planning the Saturday April 20th Connectivity Fair - held this year at Chimacum School from 10-4. Over 85 non-profits have registered to table as well as there
being 8 focused presentations scheduled throughout the day. Some of the presentations include ones on: housing, local food resilience, emergency preparedness, teen mental health, local
child care access, Students for Sustainability efforts, local philanthropy, and more!
With the added space available to us this year, we expect robust public attendance. We are explicitly reaching out to invite our elected officials to build more connectivity between
the citizens and those who govern. I hope you will seriously consider attending! We want to situate the City Council, County Commissioners and the PUD in the Chimacum Commons area,
it being the most accessible public area for having conversations, lunch, and making easy, frequent connections.
The event is free to the public and the Y is offering child care. We’ve made arrangements for onsite food trucks, or people can bring their own lunch. More info, including further details
on the presentations will soon be available on the Local 20/20 website and regularly updated as more is added, here: https://l2020.org/connectivity-2024/
