John,
The Bears Ears National Monument draft management plan is now out for public comment, and now is your chance to weigh in <http://click.emails.sierraclub.org/?qs=c30b9bcbfc792275e2ac08460ada619b6d15c6
40a48f556cc2f653803f5397073f576805ee3aa165f63365a31a39794d1c03c7721f7811710a1f17aaf0e4010a> on protecting this treasured space.
Bears Ears National Monument is vital to Tribal communities as a place of subsistence, spirituality, and healing, rich in biodiversity.
You helped us win monument protection -- twice! -- and now your voice is critical to determining HOW we protect and enjoy this magnificent landscape critical to the Colorado River Basin
upon which 40 million Americans rely.
The Bureau of Land Management and U.S. Forest Service are seeking public input on their draft Monument Management Plan. This plan will determine how these agencies manage Bears Ears
for the foreseeable future and how they collaborate with the five Tribes that make up the Bears Ears Commission.
Out of the draft alternatives, we support Alternative E as the plan that most closely aligns with these values. However, more can be done to safeguard important wildlife habitat and
natural characteristics.
Help us call for a final plan that protects Bears Ears' natural areas while allowing ongoing Indigenous access and use. <http://click.emails.sierraclub.org/?qs=c30b9bcbfc79227516f00b49a744dfbb85f3ffa

Don't forget to include a personal note about why this issue is important to you to give your note greater impact!
Thank you, as always, for taking action to protect our public spaces.
