This special evening will take place Thursday, July 11, 2024, near the beautiful marina at The Resort at Port Ludlow. Then you’ll be treated to a delicious meal, made from locally grown food and prepared by Chef Dan Ratigan of Port Ludlow’s Fireside Restaurant while hearing more about Jefferson Land Trust. As the former executive director of the Nisqually Land Trust, Joe helped spearhead the creation of the more than 4,000-acre Nisqually Community Forest, where he worked with the Nisqually Indian Tribe and a variety of agencies and organizations to protect this habitat for steelhead and other threatened and endangered species essential to Nisqually culture and to the community at large.
