I support DNR's proposed expansion of the Dabob Bay Natural Area.
Some reasons for my supporting the Dabob Bay forest protection are the importance of a natural reservoir to preserve the abundance and diversity of flora and fauna unique to the area.
It will help provide the continuance of healthy Hood Canal and forest ecology. Marbled Murrelets, a threatened species, I believe could be helped by developing old growth forest to
meet their nesting requirements. Likewise they would benefit from enhanced water quality aiding healthy forage fish populations.
