Greetings Commissioners,
I am cc'ing my comment to DNR regarding the above referenced proposal.
We are lifelong residents, property owners, and taxpayers on Dabob Bay, with Toandos Peninsula directly across from us. Our family has lived here since 1946. Sadly, we have witnessed
the damage to the shorelines and uplands as the result of extensive logging over time, as well as the decrease in wildlife. Our family strongly supports DNR's proposed expansion of
the Dabob Bay Natural Area. Please include the "West Dabob Parcel" that was in the original request from Jefferson County that protects murrelet habitat and forest connectivity to the
existing Natural Area.
