Do not open attachments or click on links if you are not expecting them. Dear Commissioners Dean, Eisenhour and Brotherton: As a private land owner with a conservation easement (Jefferson Land Trust) on property that is adjacent to Dabob Bay, I strongly support the DNR’s expansion of the proposed Natural Area. It is not only rare forest land, but also vital to supporting water quality, shellfish and wildlife habitat. I also support including the "West Dabob" area that was in the original request from Jefferson County which will protect murrelet habitat and essential forest connectivity to the existing Natural Area. This effort has been underway for 10 years now and is supported by a broad coalition of land owners, citizens, government entities, shell fish growers, conservation groups and tribes. Completing this conservation status will be a powerful assurance that the clean waters and mature forest habitat that make up much of the watershed will continue to thrive for generations to come. I am hopeful that you too will support this very worthwhile project. Sincerely, Sarah Potter 1410 Toandos Road Quilcene, WA 98376
