Joint Special Meeting — June 13, 2024, 4:00 p.m.
Jefferson County Board of County Commissioners and
Behavioral Health Consortium
In-person at Quilcene Community Center

CALL TO ORDER: Acting Chair Greg Brotherton called the Special Meeting of the Board of County
Commissioners in the presence of Commissioner Heidi Eisenhour. Chair Kate Dean had an excused
absence.
COMMUNITY CONVERSATIONS: The Commissioners participated in discussion with the
Behavioral Health Consortium members and the public regarding how to support those with Substance
Abuse Disorder(SUD) and their families, and how to work together in our communities to reduce
stigma. University of Rochester Medicine Recovery Center of Excellence staffer Tedra Cobb was
present to facilitate discussion.
NOTICE OF ADJOURNMENT: Acting Chair Brotherton adjourned the meeting at 6:14 p.m. until the
next regular meeting or special meeting as properly noticed.
