RESOLUTION NO. 04-07
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners have established ,by
approval of Resolution No. 71-91, that their regular public meetings be held the first four Mondays
of every month; and,
WHEREAS, the starting time for these regular meetings was reaffirmed by the
Board of Commissioners as 8:00 a.m. at their regular meeting on February 28,2005; and,
WHEREAS, it has become apparent due to the scheduling needs of the current
members of the Board of Commissioners, that the meeting days be reaffirmed and the starting time
for the regular meetings be changed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL VED, by the Board of County Commissioners
that the following schedule is hereby established for the regular weekly meeting of the Jefferson
County Board of Commissioners:
Regular Meeting Day:
The first four (4) Mondays of every month.
Length of Meeting:
The regular Monday meeting may be recessed and
reconvened as necessary for the conduct of County business
as provided in the "Commissioners Meeting Schedule" for the
week as listed on the last page of the weekly meeting agenda,
Regular Meeting Starting Time: The regular Monday meeting will start at 9:00 a.m.
Regular Meeting Location: The regular Monday meeting will be held in the
Commissioners Chambers, Lower Level (basement) of the
Jefferson County Courthouse located at 1820 Jefferson Street,
Port Townsend, W A 98368, unless otherwise noted on the
weekly agenda.
BE IT FURTHER RESOL VED, that this resolution repeals and replaces Resolution
No. 71-91 and any other ordinance, resolution, order or motion that established a day, time, or
procedure for the regular meeting of the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners.

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED, that these changes shall be properly noticed to take
effect at the regular Commissioners' meeting on February 5,2007 and shall be applicable for all

Regular Meeting Time
The Jefferson County Board of Commissioners will hold their regular meetings
beginning at 9:00 a.m. each of the first four (4) Mondays of every month beginning at the
February 5,2007 meeting.
The weekly meeting agenda will include a public comment period from 9:00 a.m,
to 9:30 a.m. (Changed from 9:30 a.m.) and a briefing by the County Administrator beginning at
1 :30 p.m. The Commissioner's meeting are held in the Commissioners Chambers located on the
lower level ofthe Jefferson County Courthouse, 1820 Jefferson Street Port Townsend, W A.
98368.

Townsend & Jefferson County Leader, a weekly newspaper which has
been established, published in the English language and circulated
continuously as a weekly newspaper in the town of Port Townsend in
said County and State, and for general circulation in said county for
more than six (6) months prior to the date of first publication of the
Notice hereto attached and that the said Port Townsend & Jefferson
County Leader was on the 2th day of June 1941 approved as a legal
newspaper by the Superior Court of said Jefferson County and
