I am Elle O’Dell a recruiter with Skookum Contract Services in Bremerton, WA. I’m reaching out to see if you would be interested in partnering and possibly spreading the word about our
available opportunities with the individuals who are using your services.
Our company mission is “Creating Opportunities for People with Disabilities”. We are an AbilityOne <https://www.abilityone.gov/abilityone_program/index.html> contractor. AbilityOne
is a federal program that offers employment opportunities to individuals who are blind or have significant disabilities. We are required to have 75% of our direct workforce be made
up of individuals with disabilities. Along with individuals with disabilities, we also place an emphasis on employing Veterans. We have about 1,600 employees and roughly one third of
our workforce is made up of Military Veterans. We have an awesome Vocational staff that dedicates their time to helping our candidates get qualified for the AbilityOne program and our
employees get set up with reasonable accommodations, schedule appointments, provide one-on-one coaching, and help connect them with local resources.
Our Port Townsend location offers jobs like Janitorial, Grounds Maintenance, Laundry Techs, and Recycling Techs. Currently we have a Janitorial position posted. We have competitive wages
