SUBJECT: ADVISORY BOARD APPOINTMENT (2) re: Jefferson County Veterans
Advisory Board; Quilcene Brinnon VFW Post 3213; Peter Braccio;
Officer at Large; John Hamilton
STATEMENT OF ISSUE:
On May 28, 2024, Clerk of the Board, Carolyn Gallaway, received notification from Peter Braccio that he had
assumed the position of Veterans of Foreign War (VFW) Post 3213 Service Officer. This acceptance of
Service Officer fills the vacancy for that required Post.
On May 10, 2024, an application was received for the Jefferson County Veterans Advisory Board Officer at
Large position. Board of County Commissioners(BOCC)staff advertised for the vacant position until Sunday,
July 7, 2024.
ANALYSIS:
It is recommended that the Board of County Commissioner's approve the following appointments for
Peter Braccio and John Hamilton, commencing June 1 in the year in which appointed and extending
for a three-year term; June 1, 2024—June 1, 2027.
RECOMMENDATION
Approve the letters for newly appointed Jefferson County Veterans Advisory Board members:
Peter Braccio - Veterans of Foreign War (VFW) Post 3213 Service Officer
John Hamilton— Officer at Large
