Port Hadlock, WA 98339
Dear Jefferson County Commissioners,
I am writing to express my continued enthusiasm and dedication to the Jefferson County Marine
Resources Council and to formally request the renewal of my position within the council as
Environment/Conservation Alternate. My last 4 years with the council have been both
professionally enriching and personally fulfilling, allowing me to contribute meaningfully to the
marine environment within our county.
During my tenure. I have had the privilege of collaborating on several impactful projects that
have significantly contributed to the council's mission of marine habitat preservation and
sustainability. Notably, I contributed to the upkeep and implementation of the Volunteer No
Anchor Eelgrass buoys along the Port Townsend Waterfront, Mystery Bay and Hadlock Bay,
which has proven to aid boaters from not anchoring within areas of high conservation. My
background as a working Scientific Diver and Marine Biologist has equipped me with the
necessary knowledge to continue making valuable contributions to the council's objectives.
1 am eager to rejoin the council and continue our collective efforts in promoting the health and
preservation of our marine resources. I look forward to the coming years in serving alongside the
other dedicated members of the Jefferson County Marine Resources Council.
Thank you for considering my request. Please do not hesitate to contact me at (276) 356-8589 or
hdecaterina a umai l.cunt if you require any further information or clarification.
Sincerely,
Bryan C. DeCaterina
