Dear Tara McCauley,
On July 22, 2024 the Board of County Commissioners were pleased to reappoint you to the Lodging Tax
Advisory Committee. Your term will expire on July 22,2027.
Commissioner Greg Brotherton is your contact for the Lodging Tax Advisory Committee regarding meeting
dates and times. If you have any questions, please contact him at(360)385-9101 or email at
gbrothertonRco.jefferson.wa.us.
Washington State has mandated Open Public Meetings Act and Open Public Records Act training for
government staff and officials.Newly elected or reappointed members of Jefferson County Advisory
Boards and Commissions are also required to take this training. Please use this link to access the

button + left click on the mouse). (Username and Password is: public)Alternatively,you can go to the
County's website homepage at www.cojefferson.wa.us click on"I low Do l . . ."and click on"Open
Government Training"under the `Find' section. Note that there are also Records Management and
Retention trainings that we ask that you also take.
Once you have completed each training, please print and sign a certificate. The County will need a copy of
your certificate to show that you have completed each course. Please mail or email to the following address:

You have 90 days from your reappointment date to complete this training. You must complete the training
every 4 years. If you serve on more than one advisory board you only need to complete the training once
and provide one copy of your signed certificate.

your willingness to devote time to this Board.

SUBJECT: ADVISORY BOARD REAPPOINTMENT (2) re: Lodging Tax Advisory
Committee(LTAC); Unexpired Term on July 23, 2024; Kevin Wooley;

STATEMENT OF ISSUE:
The Lodging Tax Advisory Committee have two (2) unexpired terms to end on July 23, 2024. An ad was
placed in the paper to advertise these positions.
ANALYSIS:
The two I.TAC members, with soon to expire terms, have submitted their requests for continuing to serve on
the Lodging'Tax Advisory Council.
RECOMMENDATION
Lodging Tax Advisory members and County staff recommend that the Board approve the following:
I. Kevin Wooley—Three (3) Year Term expiring July 22,2027
2. Tara McCauley—Three(3) Year Term expiring July 22, 2027
