Nearing halfway mark: Milestone reached at US 101 fish project between Sequim and Gardiner
SEQUIM – Major efforts to remove barriers to fish under US 101 in Clallam County have reached another milestone.
After completing major work, crews have returned both lanes of traffic to US 101 at Discovery Creek. US 101 travelers have used a temporary two-lane bypass road around the work zone
near Sequim.
People will continue to see work activities at this location, but most major work is complete.

Current and future construction
Travelers can expect construction at two new locations. Crews will remove barriers to fish at Johnson Creek and an unnamed Tributary to Sequim Bay <https://links-1.govdelivery.com/CL0/https:%2F%2Fwsd

Workers will build a two-lane bypass road at each location. Once travelers begin using each detour road, workers will begin work on the highway.
