County Commissioners,
Jefferson County, Washington.
Dear Sirs:-
Authority has recently been granted for the con-
struction of a road from this post across the reservation
to the end of the unimproved count road at the southern
boundary of the reservation. This new road will be completed
in a few weeks.
The government having furnished a road across the reser-
vation, it is believed that it will be a great convenience
to citizens living on the island south of the reservation
if the county will, without delay, improve its road to the
boundary line.
