Do not open attachments or click on links if you are not expecting them. Elected Officials from WSF-Service Communities, Good evening. I’m sending this for Hadley, who’s on leave. We are on one-boat service on the Bainbridge/Seattle route today due to a lack of crewing and the Interisland route was out of service for its first watch because of its crew reaching its Coast Guard required hours yesterday, making them ineligible to work today, and its second watch tonight because of lack of crewing. Looking at relief requests for tomorrow, it’s likely we will be on reduced service throughout the system due to crewing availability. Dispatchers continue working hard to fill the relief requests, but it’s likely several routes will be on one-boat service tomorrow. Management is working on options, should they be necessary, which at this time will focus on keeping at least one vessel in service on every route with two boats and as many as possible on routes with multiple vessels. This evening, we will be alerting customers about the possibility of systemic cancellations tomorrow through passenger alerts and social media, so they can plan accordingly. Please let me know if you have questions. Best, John John B. Vezina Director Planning, Customer and Government Relations Washington State Ferries
