SUBJECT: Request for Board Approval, re: Issuing a Public Infrastructure Fund
(PIF)Request for Proposals (RFP)
STATEMENT OF ISSUE:
During their August 7, 2024 meeting the Public Infrastructure Fund Board approved a motion to recommend
that the Board of County Commissioners issue an RFP in an amount not to exceed $600,000 for qualifying
economic development projects to be undertaken in 2025.
ANALYSIS:
Staff analyzed the finances of the Public Infrastructure Fund and recommended that the PIF Board approve a
motion recommending that the Board of County Commissioners approve the issuance of an RFP for an
amount not to exceed $600,000.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This request has no fiscal impact in and of itself. However, approval of this request will lead to the award of
grants for economic development projects in some amounts funded by the Public Infrastructure Fund with a
total not to exceed $600,000.
RECOMMENDATION:
Authorize the issuance of a PIF RFP in an amount not to exceed $600,000.
