Chairman Steve Tharinger ofthe Clallam County Commissioners called the joint work session
(Special Meeting) to order in the presence of Commissioner Mike Chapman and Commissioner Mike Doherty.
Chairman Phil Johnson, Commissioner David W. Sullivan, and Commissioner John Austin were present
representing Jefferson County.
Discussion Items from the Special Meeting Agenda: The following items were discussed.
· Puget Sound Partnership (PSP), PSP Action Plan, Salmon Recovery and Water Resource Inventory
Areas (WRIA) 17 and 20
· Clean Water District Planned for East Jefferson County in Response to State's Closure of Discovery Bay
Shellfish Station - Operational Planning and Funding Alternatives
· Mental Health Sales Tax (Co-occurring Disorders Treatment) Activities and State Grant for Meth

· Olympic Discovery Trail and Cross Assistance in Grants and Trail Activity

NOTICE OF ADJOURNMENT: Commissioner Sullivan moved to adjourn the Special Meeting
at 4: 15 p.m. until the next Special Meeting on Wednesday, September 26, 2007 at 9:30 a.m. in the Jefferson
County Commissioners' Chambers. Commissioner Austin seconded the motion which carried by a unanimous
