JEFFERSON COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION Regular Meeting – July 17, 2024

a. July 3, 2024 Regular Meeting - AnS 1st/MaS 2nd – 5 yay, 2 abstentions – approved
GENERAL UPDATES 4. Planning Commission Updates
a. Commissioner Schwartz: Brinnon Community Center meeting on 7/18/2024 at 5:30pm
related to the Pleasant Harbor MPR. Happens monthly, all are welcome, tours of the
property could be arranged for Planning Commissioners if desired.
5. DCD Staff and Director Updates
a. General updates: BoCC/DCD joint workshop on Monday 7/22/2024 at 2:30pm related to
implementation of HB 5290 and local project review and permit review timelines. RCW
36.70(b). Review of results of recent fee study conducted by DCD.

c. Decisions: Motion MaS / KC 2nd, 5 yay, 2 abstentions - approved

8. Short Term Rentals—Presentation and Approval of Changes – Brent A. Butler
