Hey John,
Dave Upthegrove needs our help! The Primary election for the next Commissioner of Public Lands has Republican Jamie Herrera Buetler in the lead with the race to secure the second and
final spot on the November ballot down to Dave and MAGA Republican Sue Kuehl Pederson. This race will be decided by only a few dozen votes. As former Oakland Athletics announcer Monte
Moore used to say, “This game is tighter than a bullfighter’s pants”.

The Upthegrove campaign needs volunteers to "chase ballots" - a process to ensure as many likley Upthegrove supporters' ballots are officially tallied. Most ballots that need "curing"
are those that have been received but have been "set aside" and not officially counted because they either A) lack a signature, or; B) have an illegible signature that does not match
the record of that voter's signature.
Volunteer ballot-chasers will contact these likely supporters, mostly by phone, text, or e-mail, and explain how to ensure their ballot gets counted.
