The Board of Equalization was called to order at 9:30 a.m. by Chairman Dalgleish,
with all members present. The 1984 July session of this Board was ordered to
reQonvene by the State Department of Revenue to correct a gross error in val-
uation as requested by Assessor Jack Westerman.
Jac~ Westerman and Mark McCready represented the Assessors Office.
BE 84-76-R, Paul C. Brader, 990600302. Mr. Westerman explained that Mr. Brader's
home was increased from $46,150. to $92,300. representing a new construction in-
crease from 50% to 100%. It was later discovered that the basement was not com-
pleted. Mr. Westerman then requested a reconvening of the July Board and scheduled
a site inspection with Mr. Mark McCready and Board member David Douglas. Following
the inspection, the Assessor's Office recommends reducing the value of the im-
provements from $92,300. to $85,090. It was moved, seconded and agreed to reduce'
the improvements as recommended by the Assessor's Office.
Having no further business, the 1984 July Board adjourned sine die.
