DeLeo Chairman Vice-Chairman Member Alternate M I NUT E S September 19, 1984 The meeting was called to order at 9:00 a.m. by Chairman Dalgleish. Vice-Chairman Douglas was absent. The Board made a final review of the Petitions BE 84-64-65-66-67-LO and comparables submitted by the Assessor's Office as well as the Board of Equalization Statement of Findings on the Moratorium Issue. The Clerk was instructed to retype the state- ment to incorporate adjustments recommended by the Prosecuting Attorney. The Board deliberated, and made decisions on the following: ' ~ BE 84-75-R, BRIAN M. BAUMBERGER, Parcel 977700073. Site inspection 9-6-84. ~~1 Site inspection determined that the home was of fair value, not good, but Ib/$~ the Board felt the outbuildings (some not on the tax rolls) more than made /bl~/'t1 up the difference. It was agreed to sustain the valuation of $84,470. I BE 84-65-LO, ARTHUR B. & DOROTHY WEST, The Board agreed to sustain the assessed valuation on the following parcels based on their decision regarding the Port Ludlow Moratorium: 990603124--sustain at $21,000. 990603140--sustain at $18,500. 990603I68--sustain at $35,000. A copy of the Boards decision was mailed to the Wests' . BE 84-65-LO, H.B. EHRENBORG, Parcel 990900001. Thp Board recognizes the hard- ship on the, Ehrenborgs, but feels they should sustain their property value of $52,000. in line with their Moratorium decision which was mailed to the Ehren- borgs' . BE 84-66-LO, JOHN C. POWERS, Parcel 990900001. The Board agreed to sustain the valuation of $32,500., and mailed a copy of the Port Ludlow Moratorium findings to 1,1r. Powers. BE 84-67-LO, MARION E. AMUNDSON, Parcel 990603156. The Board agreed to sustain the valuation of $38,000. and mail a copy of the Port Ludlow Moratorium decision to Ms. Amundson. Minutes for August 23, and September 7, 1984 were read and approved. A letter to Ms. Burroughs responding to why the Board cannot go back and change the previous years' valuations was prepared. The Board of Equalizations' findings on the Port Townsend Paper Corporation petition was prepared. Having no further business, the Board adjourned. APPROVED BY: O-~W/~ A.C.
