Deleo Cha i rman Vice-Chairman Member Alternate -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- MINUTES -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 25 OCTOBER 1985 Full Board convened at 9~00 A.M. with Clerk Lea in support. The Board Members reviewed the minutes of October 15,16,21,22 and 23, and approved. BE-85-189: The Board received Orders of the County Board of Equalization prepared by the Assessors staff as requested by the Board on the 16th of October. The Board moved to accept and approve the changes in valuation presented on these orders for Chimacum Creek Estates #2. BE-85-94R (Parcel 001-034-018 & 020) The Board inspected this parcel on 25 October, finding the three Tax Lots 22,23 & 26 to be all improved and well maintained. The home is old but exterior appears in good shape. The assessor recommended reducing the improvement value from 31,425 to $28,135 and susta i ni ng land values at $17,500. This adjustment was made with the finding that the upstairs of the house is an unimproved attic rathe? than an improved loft area. The Board moved to approve the adjusted valuation of $45,635. BE-85-72-LO (Kathleen Klemann) The Board made an on-site inspection of the Fowler Parks Addition on 9-20-85 and found it to be an area with a varity of topography and ground cover, so~e high land, some low and some marshy. The pet,tioner included nine separate parcels of land withing this petition located in nine blocks of the Fowler's Park Addition and totaling 121 lots. During the initial hearing on this petition on 9-06-85, the Board and Assessor concurred that adjustments on the' land villuation should be made reflecting the topography of the lands and the most recent information on the sales history of this addition. The Assessor's staff prepared a map of the addition with topographic features and blocks of the addition superimposed. This map was then color coded to define three levels of valuation per lot -- $1,750, $1,000 and $650. The Board moved to adopt the following adjustments to parcels owned by the petitioner: BE-85-72-LO (Parcel 951-902-403) Lots 11 thru 17 (7 lots) of Block 24 reduced from #1387.50 per lot to $1,000 per lot or from $9,710 to $7,000 for the parcel. BE-85-283-LO (Parcel 951-901-101) Lots 1 thru 20 (2D lots) of Block 11 reduce from $2,ODO per lot to $650 per lot or from $40,000 to $13,DOO for the parcel. BE-85-284-LO (Parcel 951-900-301) Lots 1 thru 20 (20 Lots) of Block 3 reduced Jrom $2,000 per lot to $650 per lot or from $40,000 to $13,000 for the parcel. BE-85-285-LO (Parcel 951-901-801) Lots 9 thru 22 (14 lots) of Block 18 increased from $1,375 per lot to $1,750 per lot or from $19,245 to $24,500 for the parcel. BE-85-286-LO (Parcel 951-901-901) Lots 1 thru 20 (20 lots) of Block 19 reduced from $1,387.50 per lot to $1,000 per lot or from $27,750 to $20,ODO for the parcel. BE-85-287-LO (Parcel 951-902-001) Lots 14 thru 17 (4 lots) Block 29 reduced from $1,387.50 per lot to $650 per lot or from $5,550 to $2,600 for the parcel. 1. Lot 10 in Block 8 is within the area now designated to be valued at $1,750 per lot, and the currect valuation shoul d be reduced from $2,500 to $1,750 for a total reduction of $750 per the agreement with the Assessor noted above. The Board also sustains the Assessors valuation of the North, South, East and West reserves. There being no further business, the Board adjourned until 9:00 A.M. on Monday the 28th of October.
