Hello Matt
It was an unwelcome surprise to learn about the burn ban when we arrive at HJ Carroll Park on Saturday. I would have thought you would email, anyone with a reservation, updating that
with the burn ban that the charcoal grills could not be used. As it was, we were caught unprepared for our large picnic, with our staffers coming in from all over western Washington,
and no way to cook. We incurred additional expenses in order to rent a propane grill from a local business, thankfully they were willing to delivery. HJ Carroll Park is such a
lovely venue, it was disappointing to have this happen right as we arrived.
I hope you accept our lessons learned and increase your communications in the future when important changes are made to the reservation.
Respectfully
Colette
