The Board of Equalization convened at 9:00 a.m. with Chairman A.C.
Dalgleish, Vice-Chairman David G. Douglas, Member Archie Barber. Jr.
and Clerk Dierdrei L. Whiteford present.
DETERMINATION OF THE BOARD
BOE-88-096-R Parcel Number: 921-183-022
PETITIONER: MR. BRAD MALONE made an appearance before the
Board on 11/2/1988 at 11: 15 a.m. at which time he presented his
appeal, the cost of the mobile, the moving problems and all other
information pertinent to this petition. Mr. Malone is not appealing
the valuation of the land at $41,300.00; but he is appealing the
personal property valuation on the mobile. The Assessor has it at
$22,545.00, and Mr. Malone requested it be reduced to $15,000.00Y-The
Board took this petition under advisement. On the afternoon of
11/2/1988 Bob Kingsley of the Assessor's Office and David Douglas of
the Board of Equalization made an on-site inspection of the property
in question. The chair requested the Decision of the Board:
VICE-CHAIRMAlI DOUGLAS NOTED THAT AFTER INSPECTING THE MOBILE HE
FEELS THAT THE ASSESSOR WAS REALISTIC IN HIS VALUATION OF $22,545.00.
VICE-CHAIRMAlI DOUGLAS MADE THE MOTION TO SUSTAIN THE ASSESSED
VALUATION OF $22.545.00 ON THE MOBILE HOME WITH THE TOTAL VALUATION
OF THE LAND AND IMPROVEMENTS TO REMAIN AT $63,845.00.
MEMBER ARCHIE BARBER, JR. SECONDED THE MOTION.
THE MOTION CARRIED BY UNANIMOUS VOTE.

HAS A FIGURE OF $21.000.00 WHEREAS IT SHOULD BE $18,000.00. A
CORRECTED ORDER OF THE BOARD HAS BEEN SENT TO THE PETITIONER. THERE
BEING NO FURTHER ADDITIONS, SUBTRACTIONS OR CORRECTIONS, VICE CHAIRMAN
DOUGLAS MADE THE MOTION TO ACCEPT THE MINUTES AS AMENDED. MEMBER
ARCHIE BARBER, 3R. SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED BY
UNANIMOUS VOTE.
OTHER BUSINESS OF THE BOARD
There being no further business before the Board, the Board adjourned
until January 12. 1989 at which time the last Minutes of 1988
(December 16, 1988) will be reviewed.
