The Board of Equalization convened at 9:00 a.m. with Chairman A.C.
Dalgleish, vice-Chairman David G. Douglas, Member Archie Barber,
Jr. and Clerk Dierdrei Keegan present. The Board dispensed with
the reading of the Minutes of previous meetings at this time.
ADJOURNMENT SINE DIE 1990 BOARD
Chairman Dalgleish noted that the Board of Equalization started
meetings on July 15, 1990 and that the Board remained in session
for 28 days. He stated that the Board of Equalization is to
adjourn Sine Die in accordance with washington Administrative Code
458-14-035 subparagraph 7:
"(7) The board may adjourn from time to time during
the regularly convened session but shall not be
adjourned sine die, until the last day of the
twenty-eight day period, and shall be consid-
ered adjourned after the expiration of the
twenty-eight day period, for purposes of the
regularly convened session. The board shall
adjourn after each reconvened session when the
purposes for which the reconvened session was
requested or required shall have been
accomplished."

RECONVENED 1990 BOARD
Chairman Dalgleish explained that the Board reconvenes in
accordance with washington Administrative Code 458-14-125
subparagraph 1 for the purpose of hearing current appeals in this
assessment year 1990:
"(I) Boards of equalization may reconvene on their
own authority to hear requests or appeals
concerning the current assessment year..."
MOTION TO ADJOURN AND RECONVENE THE 1990 BOARD
Vice-Chairman Douglas moved to adjourn the 1990 Board of
Equalization Sine Die according to Washington Administrative Code
458-14-035 Subparagraph 7 and to reconvene according to
Washington Administrative Code 458-14-125 Subparagraph 1. Member
Archie Barber, Jr. seconded the motion which carried by unanimous
vote.
REVIEW AND SCHEDULING OF 1990 APPEALS
The Board continued to review and schedule the 1990 petitions
before the Board of Equalization.
REVIEW STRUCTURE OF 1991 BUDGET
The Board reviewed the structure of the 1991 Preliminary Budget for
the Board of Equalization. The projected budget is $8,873 which is
apportioned as follows:

REVIEW OF WASHINGTON ADMINISTRATIVE CODE IMPACTS
The Board reviewed the Washington Administrative Codes 458-14-005,
458-14-015, 458-14-035, 458-14-046, 458-14-056, 458-14-066, and
458-14-076 to discuss the impact on the flow time of the
equalization hearing process.
OTHER BUSINESS OF THE BOARD
There being no further business before the Board, the Board
adjourned until september 26, 1990 at which time hearings will be
conducted.
