Board of Equalization: Minutes of November 7, 1990 DETERMINATIONS Page: 2 HEARING REQUESTED FOR EXEMPTION DENIAL FETTIG, Martin W. 1109 3rd Street Port Townsend, Washington 98368 BOE: 90-091-E (exemption) PN: 948 329 401 Vice-Chairman Douglas noted that as of October 4, 1990, Assessment Operations Manager Jeff Chapman wrote a letter regarding Mr. Fettig's request for an exemption in 1989. In this letter, Mr. Fettig was denied a 1989 exemption due to his 1988 income being too high. Mr. Fettig believes his 1989 exemption should be based on 1989 income. Mr. Fettig is appealing the denial for a Senior Citizen Exemption for 1989, although he has not complied with the Revised Code of Washington (RCW) 84.36.383 by submitting adequate data specific to 1988 income verification. It was noted that Clerk Keegan wrote a letter to Mr. Fettig (November 5, 1990) requesting adequate hearing information. The Board is postponing a hearing on this petition until the information is received. DETERMINATIONS Joseph B.
