The Board of Equalization reconvened at 9:30 a.m. with Chairman A.c. Dalgleish, Vice-
Chairman David G. Douglas, Member Archie Barber, Jr. and Clerk Julie Matthes present.
DETERMINATIONS

The minutes of October 4, 1991 show the facts presented to the Board. Available data was
reviewed and the Board noted that an on-site inspection was held on October 23, 1991 and
a Deputy Assessor was present.
MOTION
Vice-Chairman Douglas moved to sustain the land valuation at $60,000.
This was based on comparables adjacent to this property. Member Archie
Barber, Jr. seconded the motion which carried by a unanimous vote.

The minutes of September 20, 1991 show the facts presented to the Board. Available data
was reviewed and the Board noted that an on-site inspection was held on September 27, 1991
and a Deputy Assessor was present.
MOTION
Vice-Chairman Douglas moved to sustain the land valuation at $9,000.
The Board suggests that the appellant combine PN: 983 400 701 and PN:
983 400 702 into one building site. Member Archie Barber, Jr. seconded
the motion which carried by a unanimous vote.

was reviewed and the Board noted that an on-site inspection was held on September 27, 1991
and a Deputy Assessor was present.
MOTION
Vice-Chairman Douglas moved to sustain the land valuation at $9,000.
There is no evidence to support a change in valuation. The Board suggests
that the appellant combine PN: 983 400 701 and PN: 983 400 702 into one
building site. Member Archie Barber, Jr. seconded the motion which
carried by a unanimous vote.

was reviewed and the Board noted that an on-site inspection was held on October 28, 1991
and a Deputy Assessor was present.
MOTION
Vice-Chairman Douglas moved to overrule the Assessor's valuation of
$55,600 and reduce this appeal of personal property to $44,100. This
decision is based on depreciation and the condition of the equipment.
Archie Barber, Jr. seconded the motion which carried by a unanimous
vote.

was reviewed and the Board noted that an on-site inspection was held on September 27, 1991
and a Deputy Assessor was present.
MOTION
Vice-Chairman Douglas moved to sustain the land valuation at $54,000.
There is no clear and cogent evidence to support this appeal The Assessor
has made adjustments for topography and excess frontage. Member Archie
Barber, Jr. seconded the motion which carried by a unanimous vote.

was reviewed and the Board noted that an on-site inspection was held on September 27, 1991
and a Deputy Assessor was present.
MOTION
Vice-Chairman Douglas moved to reduce the land valuation from $40,000
to $36,000. This is a reduction of 10% due to the outcropping of rock.
Member Archie Barber, Jr. seconded the motion which carried by a
unanimous vote.
Donalda C. Porter

The minutes of September 18, 1991 show the facts presented to the Board. Available data
was reviewed and the Board noted that an on-site inspection was held on September 27, 1991
and a Deputy Assessor was present. Mrs. Porter was also present at the on-site inspection.
She had requested that the Board wait until they received a letter from a septic system
engineer before they made their decision. As of the date of this determination they had not
received the letter.
MOTION
Vice-Chairman Douglas moved to sustain the land valuation of one-fifth
of the property at $36,815. The appellant did not present any evidence to
substantiate a change in value. Member Archie Barber, Jr. seconded the
motion which carried by a unanimous vote.

The minutes of September 18, 1991 show the facts presented to the Board. Available data
was reviewed and the Board noted that an on-site inspection was held on September 27, 1991
and a Deputy Assessor was present. Mrs. Porter was also present at the on-site inspection.
She had requested that the Board wait until they received a letter from a septic system
engineer before they made their decision. As of the date of this determination they have not
received the letter.

MOTION
Vice-Chairman Douglas moved to sustain the three-fifths land valuation of
this property at $110,450. The appellant did not present any cogent
evidence to substantiate a change in value. Member Archie Barber, Jr.
seconded the motion which carried by a unanimous vote.
There being no further business before the Board, the meeting adjourned until December 5,
1991 at 9 a.m.
