DE LEO CHAIRMAN VICE-CHAIRMAN MEMBER ALTERNATE MINUTES DECEMBER 20,1991 The Board of Equalization convened at 9:00 a.m. with Chairman A.c. Dalgleish, Vice- Chairman David G. Douglas, Member Archie Barber, Jr. and Clerk Julie Matthes present. The day was spent in decision making on determinations. DETERMINATIONS Robert C. Lambe BOE: #91-042-R PN: 990 603226 The minutes of September 10, 1991 show the facts presented to the Board. Available data was reviewed and the Board noted that an on-site inspection was held on September 23, 1991 and a Deputy Assessor was present. MOTION 'Vice-Chairman Douglas moved to sustain the land valuation at $41,500. The improvements are reduced from $138,300 to $135,000. The total valuation is reduced from $179,800 to $176,500. The improvements are decreased due to reduction in the percentage of the basement completion. Member Archie Barber, Jr. seconded the motion which carried by a unanimous vote. Fred H. Whitters, Jr. BOE: #91-044-R PN: 931 900021 The minutes of September 18, 1991 show the facts presented to the Board. Available data was reviewed and the Board noted that an on-site inspection was held on September 23, 1991 and a Deputy Assessor was present. MOTION Vice-Chairman Douglas moved to sustain the land valuation at $37,500 and the improvements at $138,490 for a total valuation of $175,990. There is no clear, cogent evidence that the Assessor was in error. Member Archie Barber, Jr. seconded the motion which carried by a unanimous vote. Robert W. Available data was reviewed and the Board noted that an on-site inspection was held on October 30, 1991 and a Deputy Assessor was present. MOTION Vice-Chairman Douglas moved to sustain the land valuation at $64,060, the site improvements at $4,000 and the improvements at $58,580. The total valuation is $126,640. The appellant has not provided any clear, cogent evidence that the Assessor was incorrect. Member Archie Barber, Jr. seconded the motion which carried by a unanimous vote. Joseph E. Spencer BOE: #91-096-R PN: 978 900 092 The minutes of October 2, 1991 show the facts presented to the Board. Available data was reviewed and the Board noted that an on.site inspection was held on October 30, 1991 and a Deputy Assessor was present. MOTION Vice-Chairman Douglas moved to sustain the land valuation and tidelands at $37,200, the site improvements at $4,000 and the improvements at $92,640. The total valuation is $133,840. The appellant has not provided any clear, cogent evidence that the Assessor was in error. Member Archie Barber, Jr. seconded the motion which carried by a unanimous vote. Available data was reviewed and the Board noted that an on-site inspection was held on October 15, 1991 and a Deputy Assessor was present. MOTION Vice-Chairman Douglas moved to sustain the land valuation at $71,500 and the improvements at $93,775. The total valuation is $165,275. The appellant has not provided any clear, cogent evidence that the Assessor was in error. Member Archie Barber, Jr. seconded the motion which carried by a unanimous vote. Available data was reviewed and the Board noted that an on-site inspection was held on October 23, 1991 and a Deputy Assessor was present. MOTION Vice-Chairman Douglas moved to sustain the land valuation at $52,600 and the improvements at $207,005. The total valuation is $259,605. The appellant has not provided any clear, cogent evidence that the Assessor was in error. Member Archie Barber, Jr. seconded the motion which carried by a unanimous vote. Michael M. Available data was reviewed and the Board noted that an on-site inspection was held on October 15, 1991 and a Deputy Assessor was present. MOTION Vice-Chairman Douglas moved to sustain the land valuation at $16,500. There is no indication this property should receive further reduction in valuation. Member Archie Barber, Jr. seconded the motion which carried by a unanimous vote. Available data was reviewed and the Board noted that an on-site inspection was held on December 13, 1991 and a Deputy Assessor was present. MOTION Vice-Chairman Douglas moved to sustain the land valuation at $10,500 and improvements at $85,775. The total valuation is $96,275. There is no clear, cogent evidence that the Assessor was in error. Member Archie Barber, Jr. seconded the motion which carried by a unanimous vote. APPROVAL OF MINUTES Chairman Dalgleish noted that the minutes of September 20, 26, and 30, 1991 were read by the Board Members. MOTION Vice-Chairman Douglas moved to approve the Minutes of SEPTEMBER 20, 26, and 30, 1991 as presented. Member Archie Barber, Jr. seconded the motion which carried by unanimous vote.
