(FOR THE YEAR 1991 IN 1992)
JANUARY 31,1992
Chairman Dalgleish noted that the State Legislature started calling the Assessor's and
Treasurer's June and November Boards the Manifest Boards. He referred to the Revised Code
of Washinf!ton 84.48.065 which was enacted during the 1988 legislative session. This RCW
governs the cancellations, and corrections of erroneous assessments which do not involve a
revaluation of property. These Boards may be held at any time during the year.
TREASURER'S MANIFEST BOARD
The Board of Equalization convened at 1:30 p.m. with Chairman AC. Dalgleish, Vice-
Chairman Douglas, Member Archie Barber, Jr. and Clerk Julie Matthes present.
The Treasurer's Office was represented by Chief Deputy Janet Holbrook. A presentation of
the changes which have been cancelled and supplemented to the 1991 tax roll was given and a
written data report was provided. The Real Property Tax Reductions were $40,522.97 and the
Personal Property Tax Reductions were $5,249.05 for a Total Reduction of $45,772.02. The
Real Property Tax Additions were $45,232.02 and the Personal Property Tax Additions were
$8,727.23 and Compensating, Open Space & Current Use Tax Additions of $112,995.79 for
Total Additions of $166,955.04.

MOTION
Vice-Chairman Douglas moved to accept the Treasurer's Manifest as
presented. Member Archie Barber, Jr. seconded the motion which
carried by unanimous vote.
ASSESSOR'S MANIFEST BOARD
The Board of Equalization convened at 2:00 p.m. with Chairman AC. Dalgleish, Vice-
Chairman David Douglas, Member Archie Barber, Jr. and Oerk Julie Matthes present.
The Assessor's Office was represented by Assessor Jack Westerman Ill, Property Data
Technician Sherrie Rosbach, and Assessment Operations Manager Jeff Chapman. A
presentation of the adjustments to be made to the 1991 assessment rolls for taxes payable in
1992 was made along with the written data report. The changes to the Assessed value of
Jefferson County Preliminary Dated August 1, 1991 are listed below:

MOTION
Vice-Chairman Douglas moved to accept the Assessor's Manifest
Board presentation dated January 31, 1992. This increases the
assessed valuation of Jefferson County of August 1, 1991 from
$1,240,990,600 to $1,287,699,880. Member Archie Barber, Jr.
seconded the motion which carried by unanimous vote.
OTHER BUSINESS OF THE BOARD
There being no further business before the Board, the Manifest Board Meetings were
adjourned. The Board will reconvene February 6, 1992.
