DeLeo explained the hearing process and swore them in. Mr. Walden stated that he feels their property is not worth the assessed value since it used to be the City of Port Townsend's garbage dumping site. They presented photographs of the garbage on the property. The majority of the garhage is on the beach and in the cliff. Mr. Kingsley reported that when he was ont assessing the property, Mr. Walden informed him of the garbage problem. He felt if a value adjustment needed to be made for the problem, that the Board of Equalization would have to make that determination.
