Chairman James A. DeLeo called the meeting to order at 9:30 A.M. Member William S.
Marlow was present. Member Richard A. Broders arrived shortly after the meeting began.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Vice-Chairman Bill Marlow moved to approve the Minutes of August 10, 11, & 12 1993 as
presented. Chairman James A. DeLeo seconded the motion. The motion carried.
The Board heard and denied a request from Robert J. Clouse to accept his appeal for 1993.

Vice-Chairman Bill Marlow stated that after conducting an inspection of the property the
Board determined that the Assessor's valuation accurately reflects the market value of the
property. Member Dick Sroders moved to sustain the Assessor's valuation of $21,000.
Vice-Chairman Bill Marlow seconded the motion which carried by a unanimous vote. (See

There was some confusion with this petition so Vice-Chairman Bill Marlow clarified for the
record that Mr. Bourland is appealing two (2) duplexes. He also stated that the appellant
presented 10 comparable duplexes with significantly lower valuations than his at the Hearing.

Chairman Bill Marlow moved to overrule the Assessor's valuation and reduce the
Improvement value of each parcel to $69,245 resulting in a total value of $86,745 for parcel
number 996 400 501 and $84,245 for parcel number 9% 400 508. Member Dick Broders
seconded the motion which carried by a unanimous vote. (See also minutes of August 11,

Vice-Chairman Bill Marlow stated that after conducting an inspection of the property they
determined the Assessor's valuation accurately reflects the market value of the property.
Member Dick Broders moved to sustain the Assessor's valuation of $155,965. Vice-
Chairman Bill Marlow seconded the motion which carried by a onanimous vote. (See also

Member Dick Broders stated that since Mr. Hicks entered into a lease agreement which
established the purchase price of the property in 1988 he feels there is enough market
differential to account for the increase in the 1991 assessed valuation. The Board conducted
an inspection of the property and determined the Assessor's valuation accurately reflects the
market value of the property. Vice-Chairman Bill Marlow moved to sustain the Assessor's
valuation of $88,550. Member Dick Broders seconded the motion which carried by a

After conducting an inspection of the property the Board determined that the gully does not
adversely affect or detract from Ms. Mennella's property. Vice-Chairman Bill Marlow moved
to sustain the Assessor's valuation of $22,700. Member Dick Broders seconded the motion

After reviewing the information provided by the petitioner and the minutes of the hearing
held August 10, 1993 the Board concurred to defer making a decision on this appeal until
they research the case further.

The Board reviewed the information and conducted an inspection of the property and
determined to reduce the valuation of the property as recommended by the Assessor's office
and equalize the similar lots in the area. Vice-Chairman Bill Marlow moved to reduce the

value of the property to $25,000 and equalize lots 16 through 22 by reducing them to
$25,000. Member Dick Broders seconded the motion which carried by a unanimous vote.
The Board examined the plat map and determined there may have been some confusion about
the location of Dr. Bruchle's property. They concurred to conduct a second inspection of
the property to insure they viewed the correct parcel. Chairman James A. DeLeo stated the
Board will withdraw their approval of the previous motion and make a determination at a

the case the Board concurred the Assessor's valuation accurately reflects market value of the
property. Vice-Chairman Bill Marlow moved to sustain the Assessor's valuation of $324,305.

number 101 324 017 and $119,475 for parcel number 101 324 018. Vice-Chairman Bill
