Chairman James A. DeLeo called the meeting to order at 9:30 a.m.
S. Marlow and Member Richard A. Broders were also present.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Vice-Chairman Bill Marlow moved to approve the minutes of October 27, and November 3,
1993 as presented. Member Dick Broders seconded the motion which carried by a
unanimous vote.
EQUALIZING
Based on the property inspection and the information and testimony received at the hearing
for Dr. Willy Bruchle on August 11, 1993, the Board of Equalization determined that
neighboring lots numbered 16, 17, 18, 19, 21, and 22 need to be adjusted. Robert Kingsley
of the Assessor's office was present to identify on a map, the exact parcels to be adjusted.
The lots are located in Port Ludlow #2 area 3. Vice-Chairman Bill Marlow moved to
reduce the value of lots 16, 17, 18, 19, 21, & 22 located in Port Ludlow #2 area 3, from
$30,000 to $25,000. Member Dick Broders seconded the motion which carried by a
unanimous vote.

After reviewing all the information provided and conducting an inspection of the property the
Board decided the Assessor's valuation does not accurately reflect fair market value of the
property. Member Dick Broders moved to overrule the Assessor's valuation of 65,000 and
reduce it to $22,750. Vice-Chairman Bill Marlow seconded the motion which carried by a
unanimous vote. (See also minutes of October 27, 1993)

The Board conducted an inspection of the property on November 18, 1993. After reviewing
all the information provided the Board determined the Assessor's valuation accurately reflects
fair market value of the property. Member Dick Broders moved to sustain the Assessor's
valuation of $41,010 for parcel number 002 352 025 and $41,010 for parcel number 002
352 030. Vice-Chairman Bill Marlow seconded the motion which carried by a unanimous

Vice-Chairman Bill Marlow stated the Appellant did not provide any information to prove the
Assessor is incorrect. She rescheduled her hearing several times, she did not attend the
hearing once set and she was not present when the Board conducted the property inspection.
Vice-Chairman Bill Marlow moved to sustain the Assessor's valuation of $95,160. Member
Dick Broders seconded the motion which carried by a unanimous vote. (See also minutes of

inspection of the property, that the Assessor's valuation accurately reflects fair market value.

number 984 904 702, $40,800 for parcel number 984 904 704 and $15,600 for parcel
number 984 904 707. Member Dick Broders seconded the motion which carried by a

Board determined the Assessor's valuation accurately reflects fair market value of the

The Board decided to overrule the Assessor's valuation of the property after reviewing all the
information and conducting an inspection of the property. Vice-Chairman Bill Marlow moved
to reduce the Assessor's valuation of $95,265 to $90,500. Member Dick Broders seconded
the motion which carried by a unanimous vote. (See also minutes of October 20, 1993)

After reviewing all the information provided and conducting an inspection of the property the
Board determined that the Assessor's valuation accurately reflects fair market value of the
property. Chairman DeLeo moved to sustain the Assessor's valuation of $204,520. Member
Dick Broders seconded the motion which carried by a unanimous vote. (See also minutes of
October 27, 1993)
EQUALIZING CONTINUED
After reviewing the information and conducting an inspection of the Bott's property the Board
decided the neighboring lot also needs to be adjusted. Will Butterfield of the Assessor's
office was present to provide the owner's name and the parcel number for that lot. Vice-
Chairman Bill Marlow moved to reduce the valuation from $112,095 to 106,500 for parcel
number 948 315 805 owned by Norman Taylor. Member Dick Broders seconded the motion
which carried by a unanimous vote.
The clerk reported that there is only one outstanding appeal at this time. The Assessor's
office is working with the appellant to come to an agreement. If they do not reach an
agreement a hearing will be scheduled early in January 1994.
