The Board of Equalization convened at 9:30 a.m. Members present were James DeLeo,
William Marlow, and Richard Broders.
CONVENING 1995 HEARINGS
Member James DeLeo officially convened the 1995 Board of Equalization to hear appeals for
the 1996 tax year.
SWEARING IN THE BOARD
The Clerk of the Board swore in James A. DeLeo, William S. Marlow, and Richard A.
Broders for the 1995 Board of Equalization season. Each member signed the Minutes and
Proceedings fonn.
FORMATION OF THE BOARD
Member Dick Broders moved to appoint Bill Marlow as Chairman of the Board of
Equalization. Member James DeLeo seconded the motion which carried by a unanimous
vote. Member James DeLeo moved to appoint Dick Broders as Vice-Chairman. Chairman
Marlow seconded the motion which carried by a unanimous vote.

PROCESS/PROCEDURES
The Board briefly discussed the process and procedures. The new rules as outlined in the
Washington Administrative Codes (WAC's) were also reviewed.
HEARINGS
The Board reviewed the appeals received to date and scheduled hearings for August 15, 16,
and 17,1995.
