with similar properties in the area. He moved to sustain the Assessor's valuation of $96,060 for
parcel number 021212010. Vice-Chairman Broders seconded the motion for discussion.
Chairman Marlow agreed that the value is consistent with adjacent properties as well as consistent
with comparable sales in the area. Vice-Chairman Broders added that the appellant is not
assessed for the tidelands. Chairman Marlow called for a vote on the motion. The motion passed

some others in the area, but he does not feel that it would affect the value of the property. Based
on sales of comparable property the Board agreed the valuation reflects fair market value.

prefer to calculate the exact reduction for the land and improvements individually, before
approving it. Hearing no second the motion died. After determining the specific adjustment
amounts, Vice-Chairman Broders moved to overrule the Assessor's valuation of parcel number
921194062 and reduce the improvement value from $39,280 to $31,280 and reduce the land
value from $14,000 to $12,000 for a new total value of$43,280. Member DeLeo seconded the
motion which carried by a unanimous vote. After further discussion of the remaining parcels the
Board determined that the wet areas affect the value of only one bare land parcel. Vice-Chairman
Broders moved to overrule the Assessor's valuation of parcel number 921 193 006 and reduce the
value from $5,000 to $2,500 and sustain the Assessor's valuation of parcel numbers 921 193003,
921 194036,921 194038 and 921 193004. Member DeLeo seconded the motion which carried
