During the hearing the appellant argued that the property value was based on sales of property which were not comparable in regard to marine views. The Board discussed the sales of property used by the Assessor's office during revaluation and agreed that while views may be subjective, the properties are comparable to the appellant's property. The information provided does not indicate that the property is worth less than the assessed value. Vice-Chairman Marlow moved to sustain the Assessor's valuation of$372,140 for parcel number 002341 029. Member DeLeo seconded the motion which carried by a unanimous vote. The Board concurred to reduce the base value of$36,945 for parcel number 997 600011, by 60% due to the wet conditions, and to reduce the base value of$36,945, for parcel number 997 600 010, by $10,000 due to septic problems. Vice-Chairman Marlow moved to overrule the Assessor and reduce the value of parcel number 997 600011 to $14,778. Member DeLeo seconded the motion which carried by a unanimous vote. Vice-Chairman Marlow moved to overrule the Assessor and reduce the value of parcel number 997 600 010 to $26,945. Member DeLeo seconded the motion which carried by a unanimous vote. Vice-Chairman Marlow moved to sustain the Assessor's valuation of $2,000 for parcel number 950 100 311. Member DeLeo seconded the motion which carried by a unanimous vote. They concurred to reduce the valuation due to the topography and wet conditions of the property. Vice- Chairman Marlow moved to adjust the value of parcel number 976 800 031 by reducing the base value of $82,960 by 60%, for a new total valuation of$33,184. Member DeLeo seconded the motion which carried by a unanimous vote. It was agreed that the value of the improvements on the property are consistent with sales of comparable property in the area. Vice-Chairman Marlow moved to sustain the Assessor's valuatiol). of $220,220 for parcel number 947 300 022. Member DeLeo seconded the motion which carried by a unanimous vote. Edmonds, W A 98020 BOE: 97-24-LO PN: 990 900 003 After reviewing all the information submitted by both parties and conducting an inspection of the property the Board agreed that sales indicate that the valuation is fair and equitable among comparable property in the area. The Board sustained the Assessor's valuation of$103,500 for parcel number 990 900 003 by motion of Member DeLeo, which was seconded by Vice-Chairman Marlow, and carried by a unanimous vote.
